At Warren Easton, we believe every student holds the key to their future — and internships are how we help them unlock it.
Our Career & Technical Education (CTE) Department connects classroom learning to real-world careers through work-based learning opportunities.
By combining industry-based credentials, dual enrollment, and internships, students graduate with the technical, academic, and professional skills needed for college, career, or military service.

Internship Process & Timeline
Eligibility: Students must be in good standing academically, behaviorally, and with attendance. Successful completion of their IBC is required.
Application: Students complete an application and required documentation with parent/guardian consent.
Placement: Students are matched with employers aligned to their pathway.
Schedule: 110 hours completed over 16 weeks (Fall/ September- December)-(Spring/Jan.–March), with options for weekday or Weekend schedules.
Reflection & Evaluation: Students complete weekly/biweekly logs, submit a final portfolio, and receive employer feedback.
